Specimen Requirements

Draw two full, lithium heparin plastic capillary tube. Allow tube to fill completely. Tube should be transported directly to laboratory.  Specimen cannot be collected at offsite locations

 

Collection Container/Tube:

Preferred: Heparin plastic capillary tube tube, NOT on ice

Acceptable: Heparin plastic capillary tube, on ice

Specimen Volume: Entire capillary tube (170 uL)
