Specimen Requirements
Specimen Type: Serum
Collection Container/Tube:
Preferred: SST, gold-top gel tube
Acceptable: Plain, red-top tube
Specimen Volume: 2 mL
Minimum Volume: 1 mL
Spin down and separate serum from cells as soon as possible.

Reference Values
Lyme Total Antibody: Negative
If the Lyme total antibody result is positive, then IgG and IgM confirmation [LABCLYME] by chemiluminescent immunoassay will be performed at an additional charge.
